Vazquez v. R Garza Trucking
Represented a mother and daughter who suffered serious injuries in an intersection t-bone crash. A dump truck traveling at an unsafe rate of speed negligently ran a red light and struck the plaintiffs’ car. Both plaintiffs suffered injuries and the mother suffered a traumatic brain injury. The case was settled for policy limits.
Leonard et al v. Fair Oaks Club Corp.
Represented more than ten personal injury plaintiffs against a country club. The plaintiffs were eating dinner on a patio when a custom-built table with an embedded propane burner exploded. Many plaintiffs suffered cuts, hearing loss, burns of varying severity, mild traumatic brain injuries, and other injuries as a result of the explosion. The case was settled for a confidential amount in excess of that offered by the defense counsel.
Perez v. Rocha-Arrieta
Represented an Uber driver whose vehicle was struck by a drunk driver. The Uber driver suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of the crash. The case was settled against an Uber insurer and the bar that over-served the drunk driver.
